Training That Goes Beyond the Session
Personalised training. Real-world experiences. Lasting progress.
Every dog is different, and their training should reflect that.
At Peachy Paws Canine Education, we believe successful training is about more than obedience. It's about understanding your dog's behaviour, meeting their physical and mental needs, building confidence, developing emotional regulation and creating a relationship built on clear communication and trust.
Our new training packages have been thoughtfully designed to provide a more comprehensive and consistent approach to your dog's development.
By combining behavioural assessments, personalised Day Trains, hands-on private coaching and ongoing support, we can work with your dog across different environments while giving you the skills and knowledge to continue their progress at home.
Whether you're navigating reactivity, separation-related challenges, overarousal, unwanted behaviours or simply wanting to build stronger foundations, our packages are designed to meet you and your dog where you're at.
Because lasting change doesn't happen in one session. It happens through understanding, consistency and the right experiences.

What's Included in Your Training?
Initial Consultation & Behavioural Assessment
Understanding the dog in front of us is where meaningful training begins.
Our 60-minute consultation is an opportunity to look beyond the behaviours you're seeing and develop a better understanding of what's contributing to them.
Held in your home or at our Geebung Training Centre, this session allows us to discuss your dog's history, daily routine, lifestyle, training experience and any challenges you're currently facing.
Together, we'll explore potential triggers, contributing factors and the situations where your dog may be struggling.
Rather than simply focusing on stopping unwanted behaviours, we'll look at what your dog needs to feel more confident, regulated and capable of making better decisions.
Your consultation includes:
-
A discussion of your dog's history, routine, lifestyle and current challenges
-
An assessment of behaviour, communication and potential triggers
-
Identification of areas requiring additional support or training
-
Practical strategies you can begin implementing immediately
-
A personalised written assessment with recommendations and supporting resources
Our goal is to give you clarity, direction and a realistic plan for moving forward.
Walk & Trains
The best part? You don't even need to be home!
Our 45 minute Walk & Train sessions combine physical exercise, mental enrichment and purposeful training to help your dog feel fulfilled, confident and balanced.
Each session is personalised to your dog's individual needs and training goals, with one-on-one attention from their trainer in your home and surrounding environment.
What are the benefits?
-
Physical & mental fulfilment – More than simply burning energy, we provide purposeful outlets for your dog's mind and body.
-
Loose-leash walking – Building better leash manners and connection with their handler.
-
Engagement & focus – Teaching your dog to check in and remain responsive around distractions.
-
Impulse control & calmness – Helping your dog manage excitement, regulate their emotions and make better decisions.
-
Confidence building – Supporting your dog as they navigate different environments and everyday experiences.
-
Real-world training – Practising skills in the environments where your dog needs them most.
-
Consistency between lessons – Reinforcing existing skills and maintaining progress towards your training goals.
Whether you're at work or busy with life, we'll come to your dog for their personalised training session. All we need is prearranged access to your dog.
It's not just about walking your dog. It's about making every walk count.
Half-Day Day Trains
More than a walk. More than an outing. A training experience designed around your dog.
Our Half-Day Day Trains provide your dog with 3–4 hours of personalised, trainer-led experiences that combine physical fulfilment, mental enrichment, structured learning and intentional downtime.
Every session is carefully planned around your dog's individual needs, temperament, current capabilities and training goals.
For some dogs, this may mean building confidence in unfamiliar environments. For others, it may involve working through reactivity, developing neutrality around distractions, improving engagement or learning how to settle and regulate their arousal.
Depending on your dog's needs, activities may include structured walks, beach or park outings, café visits, car rides, confidence-building exercises, environmental exposure, obedience foundations and carefully managed encounters with everyday stimuli.
But it's not about how much we can fit into a session. It's about providing the right experiences at the right intensity.
A key part of every Day Train is structured downtime. Your dog will follow an intentional routine of activity and rest, with appropriate crate or rest periods to help them practise switching off, processing their experiences and settling between activities.
Exposure to distractions and triggers is introduced thoughtfully, with your dog's body language, stress levels and ability to cope guiding each session.
The aim isn't to overwhelm your dog or push them through situations they're not ready for. It's to create achievable learning opportunities that build confidence, resilience and more appropriate responses over time.

Private Training Sessions
Because your dog's progress is only one half of the equation. You're the other.
Our 60-minute Private Training Sessions are designed to bring you directly into the training process.
Held at a local park or our Geebung Training Centre, these one-on-one sessions provide dedicated time to practise techniques, ask questions, refine your handling and develop a deeper understanding of your dog's behaviour.
We'll assess your dog's progress, identify any gaps in their learning and work through practical exercises that help transfer their training into everyday life.
Whether we're revisiting foundations, introducing new challenges, improving your timing and communication or working through specific behaviours, each session is tailored to what you and your dog need most.
These sessions aren't about expecting perfection. They're about helping you understand what you're doing, why you're doing it and how to apply it confidently and consistently outside our time together.
You'll have the opportunity to:
-
Practise training techniques with professional guidance and feedback
-
Improve your timing, handling and communication
-
Work through current challenges and troubleshoot problem behaviours
-
Assess progress and identify areas needing further development
-
Build confidence handling your dog in real-world environments
-
Learn how to maintain and continue training independently
The goal is not to have a dog who only listens to the trainer. It's to give you the tools to achieve the same progress together.
What Can We Work On?
Foundations & Everyday Manners
Build the essential skills that support clear communication, safety and better decision-making. This may include leash manners, marker training (Yes Work), crate training, place, thresholds, impulse control, recall and engagement.
These foundations provide the building blocks for developing neutrality, confidence and more reliable responses in everyday environments.
Relationship & Communication
Learn how to become more relevant to your dog through clear, consistent communication, appropriate fulfilment and a better understanding of their individual needs.
We'll explore how to use rewards, guidance, boundaries and everyday interactions to develop trust, cooperation and a stronger working relationship.
Behaviour Modification
Work towards understanding and improving behaviours such as reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, separation-related distress, excessive barking and overarousal.
Our focus is on identifying contributing factors, recognising emotional responses and developing practical, individualised strategies that support sustainable behaviour change.
For more complex behavioural concerns, training may also involve collaboration with your veterinarian or a qualified veterinary behaviour professional.
Structured Play & Fulfilment
Play can be an incredibly valuable training tool when used with intention.
Learn how to create engaging, structured play that provides an outlet for natural instincts while building impulse control, engagement, communication and the ability to transition between excitement and calmness.
We'll also explore how to provide appropriate physical and mental fulfilment based on your dog's breed, temperament and individual needs.
Understanding Canine Body Language
Your dog is communicating with you constantly, even when they're not making a sound.
Learn to recognise subtle changes in posture, movement, facial expression and behaviour that can indicate excitement, discomfort, uncertainty, stress or escalating arousal.
Understanding these signals allows you to make better decisions for your dog, respond proactively and prevent situations from becoming overwhelming.
E-Collar Conditioning
For suitable dogs and training goals, we can discuss appropriate e-collar conditioning as part of a broader training program.
This involves assessing your dog's suitability, understanding the equipment and learning about clear communication, timing and welfare considerations.
Any use of training equipment is subject to applicable laws and must prioritise your dog's physical and emotional wellbeing.
